Student Council is an important part of our school community here at Kelvin Grove, unfortunately this year does not allow for our students to participate at this time. I look forward to the time when students can once again actively take part in their school community.

                                                                           Kelvin Grove Student Council is continuously collecting for Sole Hope, an organization that uses denim to create shoes for children and families in Africa to prevent and help heal from the jigger problem. We collect denim, used clean jeans for the shoes, cotton balls, large sized safety pins, bandages, ointment such as Neosporin, cute and fun stickers for children. Each item is used to help remove the jiggers from the feet of the children and families, bandages and ointment to help healing as some people are so effected they can hardly walk, pins to remove the jiggers from their feet and stickers to help the children smile through such an unpleasant experience of having the jiggers removed.
